Meet Suzi Evans

Mental Health Educator | Designer of ‘Workbench for the Mind’ program

Creator of ‘WORKBENCH For The Mind’

From zero to psychologist - are you ready to master your mindset?

Through my own personal journey, I have found the benefits of Positive Psychology & Wellbeing and believe we need to focus on our strengths and use them to live our best lives!

My focus is educating people to give them the tools to help themselves.

People of any age don’t need to “toughen up” they need to learn how the brain basics work.

This has led me to create "Workbench for the Mind”. The program takes its inspiration from Muzz's favourite place, the workbench, and serves as a metaphor for how our brains, much like a well-stocked workshop, have the potential to construct a better, more resilient life-provided we have the right tools and knowledge at our disposal.

It’s not about being happy all the time life doesn’t work that way however, with finding our strengths and living to our own values we have the tools to manage our behaviour to our emotions and cope with life’s challenges more effectively.

From WORKBENCH for the mind, NLP, Positive Psychology, one-on-one coaching, to Mental Health First Aid Training, let me guide you to let go of limiting beliefs & decisions so you can live your best life, feel better about yourself and believe that YOU matter!

I look forward to talking with you.

Suzi Evans

My husband Mick & I live on our family sheep farm in the Murray Mallee in South Australia.

Resilience is something we thought we knew through dry land farming in the Mallee, until the tragic events of the last four years, which led Mick & I on a journey we never even imagined was on our path.

Monday the 8th of January 2018 is a night that is scarred in my memory forever. Police came to our farm to tell us that my beautiful son Murray (Muzz) had passed away, he had taken his own life. Two months short of his 30th birthday.

I have never felt pain like it and never will again.

It is something you don’t ever get over, you have to learn to live with it the best you can.

Just as we were starting to find our way through the fog of grief, Mick was hospitalised for 6 months with Guillain Barre Syndrome – yes, we had never heard of it either let alone pronounce it, so we called it GBS. It is getting better slowly, but as Mick was paralysed from the neck down, he had to learn to walk again amongst many other challenges.

The journey to find my meaning and purpose in life took a direction into healing and learning how to manage my reactions to my emotions through positive psychology and wellbeing. I found it helped me immensely cope with my grief, and decided to become a certified trainer and help others flourish.
