Why Mondays Feel So Heavy (And How to Shift Them)
Why do we dislike Mondays so much?
Sometimes it is not even Monday itself. It is the thought of it. It creeps into Sunday and starts to take over what should be our time to rest and recharge. Instead of switching off, we find ourselves thinking about the week ahead and everything that comes with it. Before we know it, the pressure has already started.
But it does not have to be that way.
When I think about Workbench for the Mind, it has never been about adding more pressure. It is about giving people simple, practical tools they can actually use when life feels overwhelming.
Because the reality is we do not need more theory.
We need something that helps us pause, steady ourselves and take the next step. Something that feels doable, even on the harder days.

And maybe the most important part is this. You are not alone.
We are surrounded by picture perfect moments, especially online. It is easy to start comparing and questioning yourself, wondering if you are the only one who does not have it all together. That quiet doubt can build over time.
Workbench for the Mind is there to help bridge that gap.
The gap between feeling stuck and feeling supported. Between silence and real conversation. Between overwhelm and a bit more clarity.
So this Monday, try not to overthink it.
Just start small.
One small shift. One honest check in with yourself. One reminder that support matters and that you do not have to do everything on your own.
That might be enough to make Monday feel a little lighter.
