You Don’t Have to Say It Out Loud, But You Need Somewhere to Put It

We all have thoughts and feelings we keep to ourselves.

The things we don't say. The emotions we push aside. The thoughts we tell ourselves we'll deal with later.

Sometimes, keeping everything inside feels like the easiest option. If no one knows what's happening inside our heads, we can simply keep going.

But eventually, the weight can catch up with us.

When the heaviness follows you home

You might know the feeling.

You're sitting in your car in the driveway, hands still on the steering wheel, but you're not ready to go inside.

Nothing dramatic has necessarily happened in that moment. You may not even have the words to explain exactly what's wrong.

You just feel heavy.

It's often a sign that there's something going on beneath the surface that hasn't had anywhere to go.

You don't always have to say it out loud

Not every thought or feeling is easy to share.

Sometimes you aren't ready to talk about it. Sometimes you don't know how to explain it. And sometimes you simply need a place to process what's going on inside your head.

That doesn't mean you have to keep carrying it alone.

You may not have to say everything out loud, but you do need somewhere to put the heaviness down.

A place to put the heaviness down

This is the idea behind Workbench for the Mind.

It's a space for the thoughts and feelings we often keep to ourselves. A place to pause, reflect and give some attention to what's happening inside your head.

Because continuing to push everything down doesn't necessarily make the heaviness disappear.

Sometimes, what you need is simply a place to put it down.

Give yourself somewhere to begin

You don't need to have all the answers.

You don't need to know exactly what you're feeling.

And you don't necessarily need to say it out loud.

You can simply start by acknowledging that something feels heavy and giving yourself permission to explore it.

Workbench for the Mind is designed to give you that space.
